Abbots Langley Cricket Club News story

Chairman's Newsletter March/April

07 Apr 2019

Dear All,

The season is nearly upon us - Even though we have not started- a big thank you to all behind the scenes

that have helped keep things ticking over and also help prepare for the forthcoming season.

As mentioned we have increased junior membership in the last year and equally importantly have some

new coaches/support coaches mixed with the existing ones, giving me confidence the club will progress

with hard work -the results are rewarding with patience and perserverance. We have also increased

numbers signing up for All Stars with still a month to go.

ANY PARENTS OF JUNIORS WITH CONCERNS ON THE ABILITY OF THEIR CHILDREN TO BE

REGULARLY INVOLVED BECAUSE OF OTHER THINGS (exams/FOOTBALL FESTIVALS ETC) PLEASE

ADVISE- SO WE DISCUSS & CAN MAXIMISE INVOLVEMENT IN THE CLUB).

As always we need to encourage and promote proactivity in all sections the club to ensure its success-

and follow through any proposals & share the ever increasing load in admin.

Big shout outs for those members who attended the Cricket Force day on Saturday 6th April, one member

travelling up from Brixton and the coaches for tidying up the kit bags for this season. Thank again to

Julian Knight for providing printing for leaflets going out to the schools.
