Good News & Notices due to Weather Guidelines and Coaches Availability
We were happy to report last week that our u10 boys sneaked into the Quarter Finals of the County Finals with a fixture against Old Albanians by 1 point- the narrowest of margins.
Having played OA's last year at u9s level and lost by 103 runs with half the same team - there was a little trepidation, mainly in the adults.
What do I know -the boys performed out of their skin - you can see the scores on the website with contributions by all players - I will add a match report in good time.
6 of the team came through the All Stars /Dynamos programme plus a number of the parents stepping forward as coaches & helping with the scoring - which is great to see & bearing fruit.
Finals day is at Radlett- 9.30am stumps are pitched with a semi final against Harpenden &a possible final against Wheathampstead or Leverstock Green. All supporters are welcome.
As an off shoot - there will be minimal senior coaches about Sunday morning & temperatures are rising so JUNIOR TRAINING is cancelled - coaches please share with your team groups as a double reminder.-
